Hello!
I'm very very excited to say pre orders are now open for the third volume of our popular annual publication, the North East History Compendium.
This years is absolutely crammed full of the good stuff. A wide array of pieces from sports, rural & urban living, industry, radicalism and working class sport across the region with some recognisable names I'm sure.
This years is our biggest ever, featuring articles and photographic collections across every nook and cranny of North East history. The features cover fields from sports, the public realm, radicalism and rural living across the region. You can expect:
Maud Webster - What’s the point of all this public art?
A D Bergin - Conspiracy on the Tyne: Fact, fiction and the Newcastle witch trial of 1650
Harry Pearson - Chalk On, Lads! (A History of Fives)
