Introducing... NEHL Socials

Hi everyone!

As part of this years offering, we're introducing the North East Heritage Library Socials. New to 2025, we'll be hosting get-togethers and meetups for absolutely anyone interested in our heritage to socialise and neck a few.

There's no rules, no expectations and no cliques - absolutely everyone is welcome to come spend a couple of hours in the company of good people who want to chat history, architecture, culture & anything in between. This is a first for us, and I'm really excited to see & meet some new faces. See it as a little night out for people who like talking about postboxes, collieries and Victorian football clubs!

Attendance is absolutely free and open to anyone, but please do RSVP on this event so I can let our hosts know.

Supporters of the North East Heritage Library via Patreon will be eligible for our complimentary bar tab as a thank you from me, so if you fancy a neb and enjoy what we do then please do visit the link above.

The Tyne Bar is a Newcastle institution within the historic Ouseburn precinct - now one of Tyneside's cultural epicentres, and we're absolutely chuffed they're hosting us. If you've never been before or will be new to the city, it's right at the end of the Quayside at 1 Maling Street. I'll be there by 7, and feel free to drop in and out as you please. Plus, they've offered free chips for everyone!

You can RSVP for free here!

See you there!

Kieran
